Q & A Monday – Part 1

A while ago, I bought a book that contained 3,000 random questions to help me with my writer’s block. I figured, since this is my blog, why not post my answers? Obviously, I’m not going to answer all of them in one article. Also, if you’d like to answer any of these random questions, feel free to in the comments!

  • What is your greatest fear? There are too many to name! Public speaking, Social interaction, spiders, driving, wasps, the ocean, demons, heights, closed spaces, live burial (seeing people buried alive in movies freaks me out so much). To name a few…
  • What is the trait you most deplore in yourself? I’m lazy, I procrastinate, I care too much and don’t care enough at the same time. I constantly question myself.
  • What is your greatest extravagance? My laptop, I spent WAY too much money on it.
  • Which words or phrases do you most overuse? I put “Lol” on pretty much everything I write. I’ve had to constantly remind myself to NOT put it in my articles.
  • Which talent would you most like to have? I’d love to be able to sing, act, draw, and play the violin.

  • If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would stop doubting everything, questioning everything, I would make my social anxiety and fear of being myself disappear. ok, that was more than one thing, sorry!
  • What do you consider your greatest achievement? One thing is when I took a chance on myself and finally created my blog. Also, when I proved to myself how reliable I can be on a film set.
  • If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be? I would be a house-cat. There would be no responsibilities and I could just sleep all day.
  • Where would you most like to live? At this moment, I don’t see myself living anywhere but Colorado. Hopefully, that will change in the future.
  • What is your favorite occupation? I’d say being a writer is my favorite. I just love how writers are able to create entire worlds in their minds and make people fall in love with characters that don’t even exist. I also have an undying respect for filmmakers and what they do.

  • Who are your favorite writers? Stephen King will always be my favorite writer. He’s the very reason I wanted to be a writer. It all began when I started to read his novels in middle school, I fell in love with his writing style and I loved the stories he told. He’s my favorite writer and my biggest inspiration.
  • What are your favorite names? Male: Ryan, Sam, Trevor. Female: Samantha, Anna, Maxine.
  • What is it that you most dislike? Right now, I hate how negative people are. Especially in the film community, supposed fans only focus on the things they hate instead of the things they love. It really brings me down whenever I see it.
  • What is your greatest regret? I regret not pushing myself on many things. I feel like I miss a lot of opportunities because I’m afraid.
  • How would you like to die? As painlessly as possible.

  • Do you like watching reruns? Depending on the show, I’ll practically binge-watch reruns.
  • What gives you cheap thrills? When I add a new movie to my film collection.
  • What do you think is worth waiting for? I think a good relationship is worth waiting for. I know people who jump from relationship to relationship trying to find the right one for them. I’m not in a rush to find a boyfriend, when the right one comes along, it’ll be worth the wait for me.
  • Are you an organ donor? Why/why not? I am an organ donor, because when I’m dead, I’m not going to need my organs anyway, this way I can help someone who would need them after I pass away.
  • What is the number one thing people are always asking you for help with? Cause they know I’m free, I usually get asked to help dog-sit, help move, clean, and I usually get asked for movie recommendations.
