Well, 2019 is officially over. I want to thank all of you who’ve read and supported my blog this past year! I hope you had a fun and safe New Year’s celebration and you’re ready to take the new year by storm! For my first article of 2020, I wanted to share my goals for the year!
This one may be the biggest cliche when it comes to New Year goals. However, it’s something I really do need to work on. I want to go back to a point where I’m not completely out of breath after climbing just a few stairs.
Publish My First Book
The first step is actually completing my first book. I’ve procrastinated for way too long. I’m hoping that my first publication will be a collection of short stories. Completing my first novel is still a little ways away.
Learn How To Do Special Effects Makeup
This is something I’ve been wanting to pursue for years. I’m hoping with the right materials and a little patience, I can learn to perfect this skill.
Learn To Play The Violin
I’ve always loved violins and the beautiful music they make. I was debating on whether to learn to play piano or violin, and I already tried playing the piano. I took lessons a long time ago, but they never stuck.
Relearn To Play The Flute
I used to play flute in middle school, and after I left, everything I learned flew out of my head. So, I’m hoping to get another flute and relearn that skill.
Work On My Fear Of Being In Front Of A Camera
I’ve been wanting to launch my Youtube channel for a long time, but what hinders me the most is my fear of being on camera. I haven’t been putting enough effort into facing that fear, so it’s going to change this year!
Get My Driver’s License
Driving is one of my biggest fears. Everyone who’s ever ridden with me know that I can’t seem to get comfortable behind the wheel. I’ve been pushing back getting my license and I’ve become to dependable on others. This year, I HAVE to change that.
In order to become a better blogger and writer, I need more life experience. I want to travel more and gain more understanding. (Obviously, this goal is going to coincide with getting my license).
I’ve always felt uncomfortable wearing costumes, even on Halloween. The idea of cosplays always seemed like fun to me, so I’m going to give it a try this year.
Become A Professional Blogger
This is my main goal for the year. I need to put a bigger effort into this blog than I did last year. I’m still an amateur blogger, and I still have a lot to learn. I hope to continue producing content you guys will love, and continue to grow.
