Well, Spooky Season 2023 is now over and it’s time to get back to regular posting! As I was writing, I started binge-watching The Office again, and as I was getting to the end, I started to think about the character realizations. At the end of the show, the characters all watch the documentary of their lives, and they realized all of the things that were filmed. Let’s say for the sake of this series, that every single person who was filmed ended up watching the documentary, and nothing was cut out. Here is part 1 of the things that the characters realized after watching the documentary! (SPOILER ALERT!!)
Michael (Steve Carell) realized that David (Andy Buckley) earned $2,000,000 on his Suck It invention and he missed out by turning down the opportunity to invest.

The rest of the office realized they missed out on 2% of the sales team’s commissions because Oscar (Oscar Nuñez) spoke too soon.

Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) realized that Kevin (Brian Baumgartner) was the reason their card was cancelled in the middle of their honeymoon.

Concierge Marie (Wendi McLendon-Covey) realized that Michael believed he had herpes, and he warned all of the women he slept with, except for her.

The owners of Prince Family Paper realized that Michael and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) were the ones who poached their clients and put them out of business.

Donna’s (Amy Pietz) husband realized she had an affair with Michael.

Michael realized that the office was so focused on the DVD logo on the tv behind him, and they weren’t actually cheering for his ideas.

Cathy (Melissa Rauch), Pam’s hospital roommate, realized Pam accidentally breastfed her baby.

Michael realized that when he fell asleep, the office changed the time so they could all go home early.

Stanley (Leslie David Baker) realized that Michael actually did send Dwight to try and fire him.
