Happy Holidays to my wonderful readers!! For Christmas, I wanted to share some Christmas-themed TV episodes to entertain you today! These are some of the episodes I have to watch every December to really get into the Christmas spirit. I hope you have a wonderful holiday celebration and let me know some of your favorite Christmas-themed TV episodes! (POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!)
South Park – Woodland Critter Christmas

As Stan (Trey Parker) is trying to have a good Christmas, he stumbles upon adorable woodland critters, who later ask him to help them prepare for the birth of their lord and savior. One of the best aspects of this episode is that the critters and the narrator manipulate Stan when he really doesn’t want to have this Christmas adventure. It has one of the most shocking and messed up storylines to ever come from Matt Stone and Trey Parker. The reveal at the end is what really sold it for me. It takes a casual Christmas tale and leaves you with your jaw dropped!
Seinfeld – The Red Dot

After Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) gets George (Jason Alexander) a job, he thanks her by gifting her a cashmere sweater with a tiny red dot on it. Meanwhile, Jerry (Jerry Seinfeld) accidentally gives Elaine’s boyfriend, who’s a recovering alcoholic, her vodka-mixed beverage, causing him to fall off the wagon. I love seeing David Naughton in this, I think he did a fantastic job in this episode. I also love how the cashmere sweater had a teeny tiny flaw, yet George was unable to unload it as no one wanted it. Also, Kramer’s (Michael Richards) quick drunken performance after having only a few drinks is one of my favorite scenes in the entire show!
American Dad! – For Whom The Sleigh Bells Toll

After getting a gun for Christmas, Steve (Scott Grimes) accidentally shoots Santa Claus. After the family tries to bury him and cover the evidence, Santa recovers and declares war on the Smiths. Meanwhile, Roger (Seth MacFarlane) tries to track down the strongest whiskey ever made. This episode was so great from start to finish. From the I Know What You Did Last Summer parody to the epic elf battle on the mountains, this quickly became an episode that I have to watch every single December.
Frasier – Perspectives On Christmas

Christmas goes downhill for everyone as Martin (John Mahoney) has to sing in a church pageant and Daphne (Jane Leeves) believes he’s dying, Niles (David Hyde Pierce) gets trapped in an elevator, and Frasier (Kelsey Grammer) accidentally spills the beans about Roz’s (Peri Gilpin) pregnancy to her mother. I absolutely love how we get every character’s side of the story as hilarious misunderstandings arise. The absolute best part is when Martin tries to hit that high note in Oh, Holy Night! We see how everyone perceives the characters around them and how they also see themselves. It is very entertaining from beginning to end!
Family Guy – A Very Special Family Guy Freakin’ Christmas

Lois’s (Alex Borstein) perfect and organized Christmas is destroyed when everything that could possibly go wrong does. Admittedly, when I think about my favorite Christmas episodes, I always forget about this one. It’s a shame because it’s very reminiscent of Christmas Vacation, one of my favorite Christmas movies! I also love that KISS guest-starred in this episode and in their own Christmas special, KISS Saves Santa. I love how everything goes wrong and Lois kept her composure until the tiniest thing happens. It’s very realistic considering the smallest incident can really make a person break down.
