My Favorite Moments In ‘American Dad!’ – Part 1

Since today is April 1st, I had a certain post in mind, but I couldn’t get it done in time, so I went a different route. As you know, I’m a huge fan of American Dad! Today, I just felt like sharing some of my favorite moments throughout the show. These are the moments that stuck with me the most and I can watch over and over again. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite moments from American Dad!

Get Lifted, Get Lite – Shark?!

For a fun family trip, the Smiths headed down to the beach. Stan was so excited to swim, he didn’t even bother to park the car before jumping out. Once he hit the water, he was immediately mesmerized by some other beach goers using water rocket boots. The song Get Lite by The Beat*rds started blasting in his head as he watched how fun everyone was having. He even started lip syncing to the song only he could hear. I replayed this episode for a week just to hear this song and watch this scene over and over again.

Cannibals vs. Rogers vs. Dragon Klaus – The Two Hundred

After an explosion caused a worldwide apocalypse, Stan tried desperately to find his family and make sure they were ok. On his journey, he came across deadly cannibals and learned about the two hundred, a deadly force that struck fear with everyone in their path. Stan believed the two hundred was a myth created by Roger, when in reality the two hundred were all of Roger’s personas. Stan reunited with his loved ones, but they ended up in the middle of an impending battle. With all of the Rogers on one side and all of the cannibals on the other, the Smiths prepared to die. I absolutely love seeing all of Roger’s personas announce themselves as they ride into battle. What really sealed this scene as one of my favorites is the fact that Klaus became a giant dragon fish and Jeff rode him in to save the family and end the two hundred.

When The Family Stood Up For Klaus – Klaus In Rogu In Thank God For Loose Rocks: An American Dad! Adventure

While the family headed out to a ranch, Klaus was filled with jealous rage after Rogu started stealing the spotlight. After Rogu fell into a mine shaft and Klaus left him to die, Rogu came back with a vengeance. He started shooting all of the members of the ranch, and Klaus felt the best thing to do would be to give himself up. Klaus was always the punching bag in the family and it was honestly a touching moment when the Smiths didn’t let Rogu kill him.

Cult Members vs. Holly Gram – Hot Scoomp

Looking for guidance in her life, Hayley joined an exercise cult led by the beautiful and manipulative Holly Gram. Later, Francine and Roger joined in the insanity and the cult was moved to the jungle, away from everyone. The trio finally came to their senses and when they stood up to Holly, they found she wasn’t real at all. She was a hologram programed by a grotesque man who watched all of the women exercise while sitting on a toilet and eating oysters. He ended up training them good as they all gathered around and brutally beat him to a pulp. The song mixed in with the beat down was an especially nice touch!

When Jeff Tried To Save Hayley – The Long March

Terrified of living a boring life and doing nothing, Hayley quit her job and she and Jeff started living the van life and being famous on Instagram. The van life wasn’t at all what it was cracked up to be. It got to be too much for Jeff and Hayley sent him home. She ended up getting what seemed to be the endorsement of a lifetime, only to be sent to Brazil and forced to be a berry-picking slave. It seemed to be the end for her, but Jeff found her and attempted a daring rescue. It didn’t go exactly as planned, but they escaped after drinking juice that made them almost superhuman. It’s one of my all-time favorite Jeff and Hayley moments!
