My Ranking Of The ‘Workaholics’ Episodes: Season 1

I’m back with a new series! For a while, I’ve been wanting to take one of my favorite shows and rank the episodes season by season for fun. I thought Friends was going to be the one I went with, but I started rewatching Workaholics and I thought it would be perfect! I made my ranking choices based on content, laughs, memorable moments, and how often I’ve watched them. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite Workaholics episode!! (POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!)

10. To Friend A Predator

While trying to lure an online predator into a trap, Anders (Anders Holm), Adam, and Blake become fascinated with him and the friendship perks he provides. I’ll be honest, every time I binge-watch this show, I always skip this episode. Even before all of the stuff about Chris D’Elia came out, this episode was just too odd for me. It had a decent ending but not good enough to the point where I’ll rewatch the rest of the episode just to get to it.

9. We Be Ballin’

In order to impress Adam’s (Adam Devine) third love, the trio does everything they can to acquire tickets to a sold out basketball game. It’s not that this episode was completely terrible, but the rest of the episodes in this season were just better in my opinion. I definitely could’ve done without the flashing storyline, but other than that, it’s a pretty entertaining episode!

8. The Strike

After their Half-Christmas celebration is denied in the office, Adam and Blake (Blake Anderson) convince the rest of the telemarketers to go on strike. Of course there are episodes that you’ve watched so many times, you end up finding yourself sick of it. I think that’s why this one is so far down in the ranking. I do love that father-son duo, Clint and Rance Howard got to work together in this episode!

7. Straight Up Juggahos

To keep Jillian (Jillian Bell) from attending a work function with them, the guys set her up on a blind date, unknowingly, with a Juggalo. I don’t know how accurate the fans of ICP were represented in this episode, but it certainly was a crazy environment that the guys stumbled into. I do love seeing Rebel Wilson play a crazy clown in this episode. It was really cool seeing her and Adam before their Pitch Perfect days.

6. Piss & S**t

After a night of partying, the boys must find a way to keep their jobs when they have to take a drug test at work. This was the episode that started it all, and it was a hell of an introduction. It brought a crazy stressful day and I loved the reference to Die Hard. It perfectly set up how stupid and intelligent these three characters can be.

5. Checkpoint Gnarly

After meeting their boss’s brother Bradley, the guys take him out for a fun night on the town. Admittedly, this episode took a while to grow on me. Edward Barbanell was a fantastic addition to the show. His character was fun and very sly and I love how he interacted with everyone. This episode also contains one of my favorite Karl (Kyle Newacheck) moments, where he tells Ders to look into his good eye.

4. Office Campout

While their house got fumigated, the boys sneak into the office after hours to campout and trip on shrooms. While high, they attempt to thwart some men they believe to be robbers. I loved seeing the trio absolutely high and paranoid. Misunderstandings that lead to disastrous results are always a fun ride, especially in this show. Plus, this episode has one of my favorite moments in the entire show: when Blake just screamed at Adam as he was flexing. It kills me every time!

3. Muscle I’d Like To Flex

After Adam falls in love with a rich woman, Anders and Blake try to cope with losing their friend. It’s probably no surprise that one of the main reasons this episode is in my Top 5 is that wizard song. It’s catchy and I love listening to it. Adam’s girlfriend, Sharon was a real b***h, but that just means Laura Kightlinger did a fantastic job in this role. Plus, I really felt bad for Adam when he competed in the bodybuilding competition and was laughed at and Sharon didn’t show up to support him.

2. The Promotion

When a new position opens up at the company, Adam, Anders, and Blake compete and sabotage each other for the promotion. This is one of my all-time favorites because I can watch it over and over again and never get sick of it. The hijinks that Adam and Blake pulled were hilarious and seeing what Anders was like after given authority was very funny and very in character.

1. In The Line Of Getting Fired

When the CEO of Telamaricorp try to hire Ders, Adam, and Blake to kill him, they do everything they can to prove to him that life is worth living. This is always the first episode I throw on when I feel like watching the show. Chris Parnell was a great guest and I wish he was in more episodes. I love the celebrity look-alike party and the end of the episode was so great.
