I’m back with another ranking of the segments in The Simpsons Treehouse Of Horror! Today, I’m ranking the segments in episode 6. In this episode, we have giant killer advertisements, nightmarish groundskeepers, and wild alternate dimensions. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite segment in episode 6!!
3. Attack Of The 50ft. Eyesores

After Homer (Dan Castellaneta) steals a giant donut off of a Lard Lad statue, all of the advertisement mascots in Springfield come to life and wreak havoc on the town. This one is dead last for me because I’ve seen it a million times and I’m honestly just bored of it. It does have its moments but it’s one of those segments that I debate on just skipping. Plus, the jingle in the segment gets stuck in my head out of the blue sometimes, but I guess that means it did its job. Whenever I watch Treehouse Of Horror, this is definitely one segment I don’t look forward to.
Favorite Moment: When Lard Lad destroyed Ned’s (Harry Shearer) house but politely rang Homer’s doorbell.
2. Homer Cubed

While trying to hide from Patty and Selma (Julie Kavner), Homer accidentally discovers a portal to the 3rd dimension. I really enjoy the animation in this segment! Other than that, the story was only ok. It does have some great and funny moments. The end of the segment was both hilarious and kind of a bummer. It’s certainly one of the most unique segments in the whole Treehouse Of Horror collection. Like Attack Of The 50ft. Eyesores, I’ve seen this segment so many times that I don’t really have anything new to say about it, but I will say that it was still more entertaining than that one.
Favorite Moment: When Homer was told to move towards the light and he ended up getting shocked.
1. Nightmare On Evergreen Terrace
After Groundskeeper Willie (Dan Castellaneta) disappeared, all of the children in Springfield are plagued by nightmares where he tries to kill them. Funny thing is that I became a big fan of this segment before I even knew who Freddy Krueger was. After watching all of the Nightmare On Elm Street films, I was able to appreciate this segment for the epic parody that it was! The puns, the unique kills, the odd nightmares, it was all on point and very well executed. When I think about Treehouse Of Horror, this is almost always the segment that first comes to mind.
Favorite Moments: When Homer told Bart (Nancy Cartwright) to take out the garbage after hearing him scream, and when Willie was burning to death while Milhouse’s dad (Hank Azaria) was talking about the school’s cafeteria menu.
