Lately, my family and I have been inspired by the game Six Degrees for choosing what movies to watch next. Basically, we watch a movie, pick an actor/actress from that movie, then we pick a different film with them in it, and so on and so on. (Example: Dodgeball: Vince Vaughn: Freaky: Kathryn Newton: Abigail, Etc.) I know it’s not EXACTLY like the Six Degrees game, but it’s still fun! Recently, we rewatched Final Destination 3 and it made me think about the films that a majority of this cast starred in together. So, today I’m sharing what I consider the best Six Degrees horror movie marathon!

Of course, you can watch these in any order you’d like. I initially wanted to order them to where Final Destination 3 is watched last because it features all the actors I’m going to mention. However, for this article, I instead ordered the titles in a way that the actors are properly connected together. I’m only including the films that feature at least 2 of the actors, because otherwise the list would be a LOT longer. I hope you enjoy!!

Ginger Snaps

Features: Kris Lemche & Jesse Moss

Up first on our marathon is one of my favorite werewolf films, Ginger Snaps! Ginger Snaps follows Ginger and Brigitte Fitzgerald, two sisters who are obsessed with death and who are outcasts in their school. After Ginger is attacked and infected by a werewolf, she starts to change and as her popularity grows, Brigitte is left behind to figure out what’s wrong with her, and how to save her. Jesse Moss plays one of the sisters’ classmates whose ultimate goal is sleeping with Ginger. Kris Lemche is the local pot dealer who ends up helping Brigitte find the cure for the werewolf’s curse. This one is a great high school horror film filled with plenty of blood and heart!

Tucker And Dale vs. Evil

Features: Jesse Moss & Chelan Simmons

Continuing with Jesse Moss is a film that features one of his best performances, Tucker And Dale vs. Evil! Tucker and Dale are two best friends who take a drive to the country to fix up Tucker’s new summer home. Unfortunately, a group of college kids are also taking a trip and after a few misunderstandings, they assume the duo are crazy, bloodthirsty, hillbilly killers. Jesse Moss plays the macho leader who unleashes his own psychotic side on our protagonists. Chelan Simmons plays the pretty, ditzy friend of Moss’s character who does her best in this messed up situation. This one is a must-see for horror fans and comedy fans!

Final Destination 3

Features: Chelan Simmons & Texas Battle (also Jesse Moss, Kris Lemche, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe)

For the middle of our marathon, we have all of the actors together in Final Destination 3! Our cast plays high school students who all board a terrifying roller coaster. After one of the students has a premonition where they all die on the ride, she and a small group of her classmates leave the ride, but they soon find out Death isn’t finished with them. Texas Battle plays the tough jock who thinks he’s invincible against Death’s wishes. Chelan Simmons plays one of the popular beauties who learns about Death’s plans in one of the most brutal ways. This is a thrilling addition to the Final Destination franchise that brings all of the kills and plenty of suspense!

Wrong Turn 2: Dead End

Features: Texas Battle & Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe

Up next for the marathon stars Texas Battle in Wrong Turn 2! Wrong Turn 2 features a group of wannabe celebrities who sign up for a survival tv show pilot. What no one realizes is that they’re all filming the pilot right in the backyard of a backwoods, cannibal family’s home. Texas Battle plays the tragic athlete who joins the show after a shoulder injury ruined his football career. Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe plays the sexy, sleek, devious competitor who is willing to do anything to win the show’s prize money. This is one of my favorite horror movie sequels. It’s vicious, bloody, and disgusting!

Black Christmas

Features: Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe & Mary Elizabeth Winstead

For our final film of the marathon, we end the night with Black Christmas! Black Christmas follows a group of sorority sisters who are snowed in on winter break. Their Christmas celebration is cut short when they start to get picked off by a crazed killer who used to live in their house. Yan-Kay Crystal Lowe plays the sister who drowns her holiday sorrows with a bottle of alcohol. Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays the spoiled rich sister who clashes with Lowe’s character on multiple occasions. This is one of my favorite Christmas horror films. It has memorable characters, a really messed up story, and plenty of carnage! I think it’s a great film to conclude the marathon!
