I’m finally back after a MUCH needed break! During my break, I rewatched one of my comfort shows, Friends to take my mind off of things. Today, I’m sharing a new batch of random thoughts I have about the show. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you’ve thought about the show!! (POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!)
- I wonder what would’ve happened if Chandler (Matthew Perry) actually read the vows that he stole from Monica (Courteney Cox).

- It’s so funny that Joey (Matt LeBlanc) referred to Ross (David Schwimmer) as “that one dude” when trying to figure out who was the father of Rachel’s (Jennifer Aniston) baby. Imagine knowing a guy for years and not remembering that he was the one in your apartment that day.

- I love that Monica and Rachel didn’t watch Days Of Our Lives again until Joey returned to the show. They didn’t talk about the show after he was “killed off”, but then when he returned to the show, their obsession over it also returned.

- It’s very odd and disrespectful that absolutely no one in Rachel’s family visited her when she had Emma. I can see her sisters not being there and maybe even her dad, but the fact that her mom didn’t show up? That’s just messed up.

- I love that Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) made Glynnis when she thought that Rachel and Monica fought over Gladys. The fact that she went through the trouble because she didn’t want one of her friends to be upset is really sweet.

- I wonder if Paolo (Cosimo Fusco) went after Rachel because Ross called him a crap weasel. I think it would be funny if Paolo knew more English than he let on, understood Ross insulting him, and went after Rachel as petty revenge. I also thought about the possibility that after all the candles went out, Paolo was actually looking for Phoebe’s lips and ended up finding Rachel’s by accident.

- In The One With Mrs. Bing, Joey told Ross it’s ok to kiss a friend’s sister but never a mom. However, Chandler later made out with Joey’s sister and he got mad about it. That’s a little hypocritical, Joey.

- The episode, The One With The Lesbian Wedding has 2 nods to Rosemary’s Baby. 1: Phil Leads, who plays Dr. Shand in the film plays Mr. Adelman in the episode. 2: During the wedding, Strangers In The Night by Frank Sinatra is playing in the background. Sinatra was the ex husband of Mia Farrow, who played Rosemary Woodhouse in the film.

- I don’t know why, but whenever Season 2 Joey raised his eyebrows in shock, he always reminded me of Matthew Broderick.

- I wonder how Richard (Tom Selleck) reacted to Monica changing his outgoing message. It would’ve been great if it was brought up when they ran into each other again episodes later.

- It’s no surprise that I hate pretty much every decision Ross made when he was with Rachel. However, I find it very odd that Rachel got upset when she found out about his Hug-And-Roll method. He found a simple and harmless way for both of them to get a good night’s sleep. Janice (Maggie Wheeler) wasn’t upset at Chandler for doing the move and he sprained her wrist doing it!

- Rachel told Ross and her father that her right leg was shorter than the other, but she was clearly leaning to the left. So was she intentionally leaning to the left because her other leg was shorter or was she full of it and didn’t realize what way she was supposed to be leaning?

- A part of me wonders if Phoebe didn’t invite Frank Jr. (Giovanni Ribisi) to her wedding because he got married at the last minute and didn’t invite her. Phoebe’s not usually that petty, but it’s just a theory.
