When Ginny Impersonated Jason’s Mother – Friday The 13th Part 2

Ginny Field (Amy Steel) was a child psychology student who took a part time job, working at a new camp near the infamous Camp Crystal Lake. While she was there, she heard about the legend of Pamela Voorhees (Betsy Palmer), a mad woman who killed all the counselors 5 years prior, and her supposedly dead son, Jason (Warrington Gillette). While at a bar having a drink, Ginny began to theorize the possibility that Jason wasn’t dead, and he was very upset and angry about the death of his mother. She realized her theories were correct when she returned to the camp and found no one there but Jason and his pickaxe. Fleeing for her life, she came across the large shed that Jason was living in. There, she found Pamela’s head and sweater. Knowing Jason would listen to his mother, Ginny quickly put on the sweater and spoke to Jason as Pamela. This actually worked for a good minute. It certainly bought her enough time for her friend, Paul (John Furey) to run in and help her. Ginny was undoubtedly one of the smartest characters in the franchise as she knew EXACTLY how to connect with Jason.
When Buster Wrote Down A Line From Paul’s Book – Misery

Driving through a horrible blizzard, famous author, Paul Sheldon (James Caan) ended up crashing his car and injuring himself badly. He would’ve been dead right then and there, but he was rescued and then held hostage by his crazy #1 fan, Annie Wilkes (Kathy Bates). While authorities believed Paul crawled out of the wreckage and succumbed to his injuries deep in the woods, the local sheriff, Buster (Richard Farnsworth) didn’t buy it one bit. While he had difficulty finding out what happened to Paul, Buster decided to read his famous Misery novels. One quote that Misery said caught Buster’s attention so much, that he wrote it down. After a little time, Buster found an article on Annie Wilkes where she recited the same exact quote at her trial. If Buster didn’t remember that line, he never would’ve even suspected Annie. Sure, he was killed as soon as he got to Annie’s, BUT because he remembered that line, he was the one who came the closest to finding Paul.
When Billy Called Richie For Help – Thinner

Billy Halleck (Robert John Burke) was an overweight lawyer who helped his Mafia friend, Richie Ginelli (Joe Mantegna) stay out of prison. Because he helped him out, Richie told Billy that he owed him big time. Not long after that trial, Billy was driving home with his wife, and his wife decided to give him a little distraction. That distraction cost him deeply as he ended up hitting an old Romani woman who was crossing the street. After his legal friends kept him out of jail, the woman’s father, Tadzu Lempke (Michael Constantine) got his revenge by cursing him, making him rapidly lose weight. He didn’t understand what was happening at first, but once he did, he tracked Lempke down and begged him to take the curse off. When Lempke refused and Billy got injured in the process, he called Billy for a doctor to help him. After the doctor helped Billy, Richie went to see Billy himself, and he came prepared. Richie did a lot of despicable things to get Lempke to take the curse off, including threatening his granddaughter with acid. Lempke finally complied and Billy got the curse taken off, all because he made the right call.
When Alice Used The Zombie Dogs To Escape – Resident Evil: Extinction

Smack dab in the middle of the apocalypse, Alice (Milla Jovovich) rode her motorcycle through the country, keeping off the grid and helping anyone she came across. While on her journey, she quickly responded to a distress call… a call that turned out to be a trap. When the group who sent the call out attempted to rob and rape her, she didn’t hesitate to make them realize they’re messing with the wrong person. She killed one of their members and they retaliated by throwing her in a hole below the building filled with vicious undead dogs. Most people would’ve been screwed right then and there, but Alice was another force. She freed herself from the cuffs and while she dodged the dogs, she used her surroundings to her advantage. She wrapped cords around a few of the dogs and tied them to a beam. As they tried to get to her, they pulled the beam out, causing the floor above to collapse, creating a ramp she could escape with. Alice was always able to overcome her dire situations and I think this is one of the smartest ways she’s done so.
When Arkin Cleverly Used The Last 2 Bullets – The Collection

Arkin (Josh Stewart) was an intelligent thief who was captured by the evil and sadistic Collector: a man who set up painful traps, tortured innocents, and collected people to do whatever he wanted with them. During his latest trap, The Collector (Randall Archer) captured a young girl, Elena (Emma Fitzpatrick), and Arkin got his chance to escape. Arkin was then forced to find The Collector’s home and rescue Elena by mercenaries hired by Elena’s father. The rescue came off to an abysmal start and the team was stuck inside The Collector’s building, with a deadly trap around every corner. With only a few members of the team left, they finally found Elena and now they needed to escape. Looking out one of the windows, Arkin spotted a couple of homeless men right outside. With just 2 bullets left, Arkin came up with a plan. He first shot and injured one of the homeless men, and when help arrived, Arkin fired the second shot at them, showing them which building they were in. They still had quite a few obstacles to go through, but because Arkin used the bullets wisely, the authorities knew exactly which building to cut through.
