First, I shared some of the craziest horror movie mothers. Today, I’m sharing some of the craziest siblings in the horror genre! Whether terrorizing each other or terrorizing everyone else, these siblings have left their mark in the horror genre with their psychotic tendencies. I hope you enjoy and let me know which horror movie siblings deserve to be in this series! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)
Wednesday & Pugsley Addams – The Addams Family

Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) Addams wear the name “crazy siblings” like a badge of honor. They turned torturing and killing each other into an Olympic sport. Every chance they got, they went at each other with any weapon they could find. When they weren’t tormenting each other, they were terrorizing the community outside of their homestead. It got even worse when a new baby was introduced to the family and they set their psychotic eyes on him. Even their seemingly harmless stage performances had plenty of violence and blooodshed. They were certainly creative in their insanity.
Rose Michaels – So I Married An Axe Murderer

Rose Michaels (Amanda Plummer) had serious separation anxiety and obsession when it came to her sister, Harriet (Nancy Travis). For years, any time Harriet married a man, Rose saw him as a threat. She would kill Harriet’s new husband on their wedding night and make Harriet believed he just left her. She did this three separate times. What’s worse is that she unintentionally framed her own sister! She had authorities trying to find Harriet and when Harriet met her latest husband, Charlie (Mike Myers), his own paranoia of her almost drove him away. Rose could play the part of innocent sister too well to even be suspected. She was insane and obsessive.
Michael Myers – Halloween (2007)

Michael Myers (Daeg Faerch) was a deeply disturbed soul who showed psychotic tendencies at a very young age. His older sister was a bully, his mother’s boyfriend was loud and abusive, and he had to deal with school bullies who mocked what his mother did for a living. No one was aware of his murderous desires until they found his collection of dead animals. It didn’t take long for him to move onto bigger prey as he spent his Halloween night killing everyone in his house except for his mom and his baby sister. After losing his mom a year later, Michael spent years locked up before escaping and tracking down the only family he had left and killing everyone in his path to her.
Son, Older Daughter, & Younger Daughter – Dogtooth

I know “crazy” might not be the right word to describe these three… but to me, it’s not that far off. These kids were raised to believe the most random things. Thanks to their even crazier parents, they believed they could catch airplanes, they believed their father caught fish in their pool, and they believed they couldn’t leave their property until their adult canine teeth fell out. They were completely cut off from the rest of the world and only knew what their parents told them. They don’t even have names! They developed their own psychotic tendencies as they cut each other, hit each other with hammers, and even slept with each other. What we know as totally insane was normal to them.
Esther Coleman – Orphan

After losing her third child, Kate Coleman (Vera Farmiga) decided to adopt a child who really needed a family. While meeting the children at an orphanage, her husband, John (Peter Sarsgaard) connected with a 9-year-old girl named Esther (Isabelle Fuhrman). They thought they were bringing home the perfect addition to the family. What they didn’t realize was that Esther wasn’t a little girl at all, but a 33-year-old psychotic woman. She killed animals, she killed the head of the orphanage who tried digging into her past. She even tried killing her brother when he tried to find the evidence of what she did. She did all of this just so she could seduce John and when he didn’t do what she wanted, she killed him too. This wasn’t the first time she’s done this with a family, either. When she couldn’t have what she wanted, she had no problem burning it all to the ground to start over.
