Well, I started this series in 2020 and I finally bring you the 4th and final part of my top 100 favorite movies of all time! I’m not proud that it took me 4 years to complete all 4 parts, but I’m so happy I’m finally finished. I hope you check out the previous three parts and let me know some of your all-time favorite movies!

25. Without A Paddle (2004)

Directed By: Steven Brill

Stars: Matthew Lillard, Seth Green, Dax Shepard, and Burt Reynolds.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): After their friend dies, three men decide to fulfill their childhood dream by going on a camping expedition for the lost D.B. Cooper bounty, with calamitous results.

Why I Love It: I absolutely love road trip/adventure comedies and this is one of the top ones! The protagonists are absolutely hilarious and have great chemistry. There are some real raunchy and jaw-dropping moments that I could never forget. The setting is absolutely beautiful and the music is so nostalgic. I still have the PSP copy of the film that I used to watch all the time until my game system died on me.

Favorite Scene: When the trio gets high while trying to escape the weed farm.

Favorite Quote:

River Guide (Gregory Cruz):Lie to me. I don’t care. I’m not the one who’s going to drown.

24. The Others (2001)

Directed By: Alejandro Amenábar

Stars: Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flanagan, Alakina Mann, and James Bentley.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): During World War II, a woman who lives with her two photosensitive children on her darkened old family estate in the Channel Islands becomes convinced that the home is haunted.

Why I Love It: This was one of the first horror movies that I’ve ever seen. With its beautifully haunting music, stellar cast, and isolated setting, it truly made its impact on me to this day. The filmmakers really took a one-setting story and gave us every worst-case-scenario they could find there. The suspense is spectacular and the jaw-dropping finale was what really stuck with me over the years.

Favorite Scene: The final séance.

Favorite Quote:

Mrs. Mills (Fionnula Flanagan):The intruders are leaving. But others will come. Now, sometimes we’ll sense them. Other times, we won’t. But that’s the way it’s always been. Ma’am.

23. Rosemary’s Baby (1968)

Directed By: Roman Polanski

Stars: Mia Farrow, John Cassavetes, Ruth Gordon, and Sidney Blackmer.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): A young couple trying for a baby moves into an aging, ornate apartment building on Central Park West, where they find themselves surrounded by peculiar neighbors.

Why I Love It: Admittedly, if a movie plot proceeds too slowly, I tend to get bored pretty easily. However, when I first saw this film, I was immediately hooked. All credit goes to the immaculate cast who managed to keep every scene entertaining. The story was so intriguing and I love how close it was to the novel it was based on. It’s a very suspenseful tale with a hell of a conclusion!

Favorite Scene: When Rosemary (Mia Farrow) and Guy (John Cassavetes) had dinner with Hutch (Maurice Evans).

Favorite Quote:

Rosemary:What have you done to it? What have you done to its eyes? Guy’s eyes are normal. What have you done to him, you maniacs?!

22. Inglourious Basterds (2009)

Directed By: Quentin Tarantino

Stars: Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, and Mélanie Laurent.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders by a group of Jewish U.S. soldiers coincides with a theatre owner’s vengeful plans for the same.

Why I Love It: Any film that “rewrites” history and makes horrible people pay immensely is alright in my book! I honestly believe this is Tarantino’s most brilliant film. Watching 2 different groups of people and their plans to take down Hitler come together was just so satisfying. I love seeing every piece come together for the perfect assassination plan. Even with its longest scene, there was never a dull moment with this film.

Favorite Scene: The intense basement shootout.

Favorite Quote:

Aldo (Brad Pitt):You know somethin’, Utivich? I think this just might be my masterpiece.

21. Hard Candy (2005)

Directed By: David Slade

Stars: Patrick Wilson, Elliot Page, Sandra Oh, and Odessa Rae.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): Hayley’s (Elliot Page) a smart, charming teenage girl. Jeff’s (Patrick Wilson) a handsome, smooth fashion photographer. An internet chat, a coffee shop meet-up, and an impromptu fashion shoot back at Jeff’s place. Jeff thinks it’s his lucky night, but he’s in for a surprise.

Why I Love It: This was such an intriguing film with every scene. We start out with an uncomfortable interaction between a young kid and an internet creep. It was such a wonderful twist as the predator became the prey. It was a great mystery and we’re given a wonderful, intelligent, and ruthless vigilante protagonist. It was full of suspense and intense moments that’ll always stick with me.

Favorite Scene: The castration scene.

Favorite Quote:

Hayley (Elliot Page):I am every little girl you ever watched, touched, hurt, screwed, killed!

20. The Devil’s Rejects (2005)

Directed By: Rob Zombie

Stars: Sid Haig, Bill Moseley, Sheri Moon Zombie, and William Forsythe.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): The muderous, backwoods Firefly family take the road to escape the vengeful Sheriff Wydell (William Forsythe), who is not afraid of being as ruthless as his target.

Why I Love It: This film’s one of the films that really made me a fan of the horror genre and it made me a huge fan of Rob Zombie’s horror style. I love the overall revenge plot where you’re not sure who you’re supposed to root for. The dialogue is very fresh and stayed with me for years. It’s a bloody and messed up good time! I also need to mention the killer soundtrack and epic ending.

Favorite Scene: When the Rejects were apprehended.

Favorite Quote:

Otis (Bill Moseley):Boy, the next word that comes out of your mouth better be some brilliant f****ing Mark Twain s**t. Cause it’s definitely getting chiseled on your tombstone.

19. The Menu (2022)

Stars: Anya Taylor-Joy, Ralph Fiennes, Nicholas Hoult, and Hong Chau.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): A young couple travels to a remote island to eat at an exclusive restaurant where the chef has prepared a lavish menu, with some shocking surprises.

Why I Love It: This ended up being a last minute change as I became absolutely obsessed with this movie. I love the island setting and the set-up dinners were absolutely divine and creative. Although the characters were terrible people, they were just so entertaining to watch. I love the discussion between love and obsession and this became a film that I can throw on again and again and never get tired of.

Favorite Scene: When the men had a “chance” to escape.

Favorite Quote:

Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy):I thought tonight was a night of hard home truths. This is one of them. You cook with obsession, not love. Even your hot dishes are cold. You’re a chef. Your single purpose on this Earth is to serve people food that they might actually like, and you have failed. You’ve failed. And you’ve bored me. And the worst part is I’m still f***ing hungry.

18. Clue (1985)

Directed By: Jonathan Lynn

Stars: Tim Curry, Lesley Ann Warren, Martin Mull, and Madeline Kahn.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): Six guests are anonymously invited to a strange mansion for dinner, but after their host is killed, they must cooperate with the staff to identify the murderer as the bodies pile up.

Why I Love It: This was a quirky and unique mystery film filled with both laughs and shocks. There wasn’t a single character that felt out of place, everyone brought their A-game for this film. One of its best aspects was its multiple endings. I love the different possible outcomes, it’s something we never get in a mystery film nowadays.

Favorite Scene: When Wadsworth (Tim Curry) ran around explaining who the killer was.

Favorite Quote:

Colonel Mustard (Martin Mull):How many husbands have you had?” Mrs. White (Madeline Kahn): “Mine or other women’s?” Colonel Mustard: “Yours.” Mrs. White: “Five.” Colonel Mustard: “Five?” Mrs. White: “Yes, just the five. Husbands should be like Kleenex: soft, strong and disposable.

Why I Love It: I’m a real sucker for holiday horror films and anthology films and this one has the best of both worlds. I love how each story connected and intertwined with the others. I also love how it brought us a real Halloween antagonist, a true spirit of Halloween for the horror genre! It has a fantastic small-town setting and it’s a film that I absolutely have to watch every Halloween!

Favorite Scene: The werewolf transformations.

Favorite Quote:

Danielle (Lauren Lee Smith):Last year was San Diego. We dressed as sailors and ended up with sailors.

Janet (Moneca Delain):Yeah, and Maria’s sailor was a girl.

Maria (Rochelle Aytes):So what, she had a nice a**, it all tastes the same to me anyway.

Directed By: Tom Holland

Stars: Catherine Hicks, Chris Sarandon, Alex Vincent, and Brad Dourif.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): A struggling single mother unknowingly gifts her son a doll imbued with a serial killer’s consciousness.

Why I Love It: Growing up, I was terrified of practically everything, especially Chucky (Brad Dourif) the killer doll. Once I started getting into the genre, the Child’s Play franchise practically became an overnight favorite. The first film was so legendary and unforgettable due to its suspense, killer death scenes, and a remarkable villain that still haunts decades later!

Favorite Scene: When Charles Lee Ray put his soul into the doll.

Favorite Quote:

Charles Lee Ray: “You hear that, you son of a b***h! I’m gonna get you for it! I’m gonna get you and I’m gonna get Eddy, no matter what!”

Why I Love It: I am just so fascinated with the story of Derry, Maine and Pennywise the dancing clown! The right people were definitely behind this movie. Not only does it have an intriguing main story, but it has so many outer stories that left me wanting more. The creatures were terrifying and we got a bada** group of heroes.

Favorite Scene: The final showdown.

Favorite Quote:

Eddie (Jack Dylan Grazer):They’re gazebos! They’re bullshit!

14. Stand By Me (1986)

Directed By: Rob Reiner

Stars: Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, and Jerry O’Connell.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): A writer recounts a childhood journey with his friends to find the body of a missing boy.

Why I Love It: This was a great journey filled with fun and friendship. I get so enthralled with the characters and their own personal journeys, I sometimes forget the reason they’re traveling. Plus, I’m a huge fan of stories within the stories and the pie eating contest revenge story that was told was so entertaining. It’s a heartbreaking film but it was so wonderfully executed. It’s easily one of my favorite Stephen King movies.

Favorite Scene: The pie eating contest revenge story.

Favorite Quote:

Gordie (Wil Wheaton):Oh, gee! Thanks, Dad!

Chris (River Phoenix):I wish to hell I was your dad. You wouldn’t be goin’ around talkin’ about takin’ these stupid shop courses if I was. It’s like God gave you something, man, all those stories you can make up. And He said, ‘This is what we got for ya, kid. Try not to lose it.’ Kids lose everything unless there’s someone there to look out for them. And if your parents are too f***ed up to do it, then maybe I should.

13. Casino (1995)

Stars: Robert De Niro, Joe Pesci, Sharon Stone, and James Woods.

Synopsis (provided by IMDb.com): In Las Vegas, two best friends – a casino executive and a mafia enforcer – compete for a gambling empire and a fast-living, fast-loving socialite.

Why I Love It: Over time, this became my favorite Martin Scorsese film. Seeing this group’s rise to luxury and fall to the ground was both stressful and captivating. These characters certainly aren’t saints but their lives were still too interesting to ignore. It has some shocking moments, a fantastic soundtrack, and arguments that I could listen to all day.

Favorite Scene: Whenever Sam (Robert De Niro) and Nicky (Joe Pesci) argued.

Favorite Quote:

Ace:I’m not trying to tell you what to do. But you were way out of line, Nick. What’re you doing? Where’s your head?

Why I Love It: This was a very interesting and tragic tale. I love that we get these two characters who clash and end up finding what they really needed with each other. The music is straight-up addicting and would stay in my head for days after watching the film. Christina Ricci (Rae) and Samuel L. Jackson (Lazarus) were at the top of their games with this drama!

Why I Love It: This was a great mystery film. Admittedly, I did not like this film at all when I first watched it, now I’ve seen it so many times, I practically know it by heart. It was a great combination of The Thing and Reservoir Dogs. The isolated setting surrounded by a terrible blizzard was an especially nice touch.

Favorite Scene: When the mystery was finally solved.

Why I Love It: This film was my introduction to a lot of my favorite actors. I absolutely love random humor and this film provided plenty of it. It’s one of those films where you’re not sure what to expect. Andy Samberg, Bill Hader, and Danny McBride gave amazing performances, as usual, and it’s a movie that I can throw on whenever I’m down and it’ll automatically lift my spirits!

Favorite Scene: The slow motion walking scene that turned into a full-scale riot.

Why I Love It: This film is a perfect combination of comedy and horror. The characters were all likable, even its most frustrating one. The special effects are absolutely stunning and still hold up to this day. The story was very original and I love the banter between the 2 stars, even after one of them was killed.

Favorite Scene: The subway chase scene.

Favorite Quote:

Gerald (Michael Carter):You’ve left my wife a widow and my children fatherless. And I understand that I am to walk the earth in Limbo, one of the living dead until the wolf’s bloodline is severed and the curse lifted. You must die, David Kessler.

I love how we get all the different stories surrounding this group of thieves. I love the conversations, the soundtrack, and the shocking ending.

Favorite Quote:

Mr. White (Harvey Keitel):You shoot me in a dream, you better wake up and apologize.

Why I Love It: This was such a quirky and fun kidnapping-gone-wrong film. It’s so funny and entertaining, it can be easy to forget how dark some of the scenes are. It has a certain charm that I haven’t found in another film, making this truly unique and unforgettable. Plus, it has one of my all-time favorite movie couples!

They didn’t miss a single beat playing off of each other and irritating the people around them. It’s a great road trip comedy/kidnapping-gone-wrong story filled with iconic moments and quotes!

Kathy Bates (Annie) and James Caan (Paul) worked so well together, I was impressed by both of their performances. Funny thing is whenever I want to feel motivated to write anything, I just throw this movie on, and I’m inspired!

Favorite Scene: When Paul burned the Misery book.

Paul:You want it? You want it? Eat it! Eat it till ya choke, you sick, twisted f**k!

I love the conversations and deconstructions of the slashers before it. It has one of the best final girls in the entire horror genre and such an iconic twist that couldn’t be topped.
