I’m back with a new series! A while back, I started talking about my favorite moments in American Dad. Lately, I started rewatching Family Guy and today I wanted to discuss my favorite moments from the show! I decided to omit cutaways because I’m thinking about putting those in a separate series. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite Family Guy moments! (POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!!)
Who Cared? Quiznos Cared – Better Off Meg

After getting ditched by her family on her birthday, Meg decided to go bowling by herself. Another girl at the bowling alley ended up getting Meg’s ID by accident and when she was killed in a car accident, everyone thought it was Meg who died. When Meg heard that people thought she was dead, she believed that nobody cared. We then see a couple of employees at Quiznos absolutely devastated by the news. Meg was their best customer, and they lit a Quiznos bag lantern in her honor. I know it was meant to be funny but I actually found it very sweet. There were people who really cared about her and it was such a wonderful thing to witness.
When Help Finally Arrived – Cool Hand Peter

Wanting to get away from their family stresses, Peter, Joe, Quagmire, and Cleveland planned a road trip to New Orleans to wind down and party. Unfortunately, they got pulled over by a corrupt cop in the South and were framed for drug possession. They thought they were only going to prison for 30 days, but they found out that the prison warden constantly extended sentences and that they were most likely going to spend the rest of their lives there. They succeeded in a daring escape and they were able to catch a train back to Quahog. Unfortunately, the corrupt cops were waiting for them at the train station, but luckily, Joe had his own surprise for them. He called some of the Quahog officers to come help them. I gotta say, it’s great watching them jump out of the train and arrest the corrupt cops!
The News Of The World – Killer Queen

After defeating hot dog eating champion, Charles Yamamoto, Chris was sent to fat camp and Peter reluctantly joined him. Shortly after they arrived, some of the other campers were brutally strangled. They suspected that it was Lois’s brother who was institutionalized for killing overweight people, but they found out pretty quickly that he didn’t do it. With his help, they all realized that this wasn’t some random killing pattern, but the killer was trying to kill Chris. Back at home, Chris was attacked by none other than Charles Yamamoto, who planned to kill Chris and frame Lois’s brother all because Chris took his title away. Yamamoto almost succeeded in his plan if it wasn’t for Stewie. Stewie gave Yamamoto a fatal heart attack by showing him the album cover to Queen’s News Of The World: an album that Stewie himself was absolutely afraid of the whole episode. Stewie overcoming his fear and saving his brother was one of my absolute favorite moments of his!
The Scream Heard Around The World – The Munchurian Candidate

Desperate to make Peter more generous in the bedroom, Lois took him to a hypnotherapist. There, he became hypnotized, but to the wrong trigger phrase. Now, whenever Peter heard “EXTRA EXTRA,” he’d go down on Lois, sending her into complete ecstasy. This was a perfect arrangement for a while, until they went to visit Lois’s parents for dinner. With Babs ill in bed, Peter went up to bring her food and to Lois’s horror, she heard the trigger phrase in the room. She ran as fast as she could, but she was too late in stopping Peter. The whole situation is so messed up, but it brought one of the most powerful screams I ever heard! I have to give major props to Alex Borstein for this performance!
