I’m back with part 2 of horror movie sequels I wish were made! These are some of the horror movie sequels that I wish existed. I know that the chances of these actually being made are near impossible for one reason or another, it’s just hopeful thinking on my part. I hope you enjoy and let me know which horror movie sequels you wish were made! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)
The Gravedancers 2

I absolutely loved the concept of the first film: people being haunted by the spirits whose graves they danced on. I feel like there’s much more to this story that needs to be explored. For instance, who was the person who left The Gravedancers Lament in the cemetery in the first place and why does he do it? I would really love the idea that Vincent (Tchéky Karyo), after almost dying because of his assistant, dedicated his work to helping those who are haunted and he would be the one who would find out who’s cursing these people and why.
The Stepfather 2

After rewatching The Stepfather remake, I really wish that we got to continue the story in another installment. Much like the original 1987 film, I pictured Michael (Penn Badgley), after coming out of his coma, dead set on hunting David (Dylan Walsh) down before he killed another family. After learning about what happened to his dad and aunt, I doubt Michael would’ve left it to the authorities to track him down. I’ve been deprived of the revenge film I need!
Abigail 2

I really want to see what would happen if there was a follow-up to Abigail. Would Abigail (Alisha Weir) continue her games to win over her father’s love? Would she and Joey (Melissa Barrera) ever cross paths again? Would there be another newly turned vampire who would threaten the empire? Also, I think a prequel would be interesting as well, like how Abigail became a vampire and how she became her father’s main hit man, and how she played the other games with her previous victims.
Hatchet 5

I’m ready to see Victor Crowley (Kane Hodder) return! I want more brutal kills, more horror legend cameos, and more Marybeth Dunston (Danielle Harris). I want to see her team up with Andrew (Parry Shen) and Rose (Laura Ortiz) to take down Crowley once and for all. It should be very interesting to see how they do it when the thing that stopped him the last time is impossible now. I just want to see more carnage at Honey Island Swamp!!
I Spit On Your Grave 4

Now, when I heard the concept for I Spit On Your Grave: Vengeance Is Mine, I thought about what would happen if Jennifer (Sarah Butler) actually met Katie (Jemma Dallender) (I Spit On Your Grave 2) in the therapy group she was sent to. Together, they share their stories and together, they kicked a** and rid the world of horrible rapists. It would’ve been a fantastic way to connect the first 2 films, and you know what? I still think it could work! I still think this movie could be made!
Idle Hands 2

I honestly think this sequel is still possible. The concept I’m thinking of is Anton (Devon Sawa) and Molly (Jessica Alba) are married now and they have a kid who’s a spitting image of Anton. Because Anton was the one who got away, evil forces target their kid and curse his hand out of revenge. Also, Seth Green and Elden Henson barely look any different, so I think Mick and Pnub can easily return as Anton’s guardian angels and try their best to help (but in proper Mick and Pnub fashion, they end up making things worse haha). This would just be a really cool thing to see.
We Summon The Darkness 2

I would definitely like to know what the next chapter would have in store for Mark (Keean Johnson) and Beverly (Amy Forsyth). Would they go into hiding or would they try to prevent any other cult members from performing their rituals? I know that John (Johnny Knoxville) would have them hunted down because they took his money, they could be fighting a bunch of religious nuts, which in a horror sequel, that means a bigger body count, and lots more blood!
American Psycho 3

This could go a couple different routes. The third one could focus on Rachael (Mila Kunis) and her career as an FBI agent/serial killer. It could be a Dexter situation where the FBI are pursuing her and don’t even know that they’re working with a killer. Another route could share the same concept as the second film, where a young person kills Rachael in self defense then find they have a real appetite for murdering. Monsters creating monsters is always a fascinating subject!
The Final Girls 2

The first film ended where the fictional sequel began. It would be a very interesting continuation to see. I want to know if the same rules would apply or because it’s a sequel, all rules would go out the window. Since all of the real people survived, did that mean they were never in danger of being permanently killed in the film after all, or do they have false hope as they try to survive this sequel. This always had franchise potential and we need more laughter in the slaughter!
The Monster Squad 2

It’s time for us to see a new generation of monster hunters. In this concept, the Monster Squad are all grown up with kids of their own. They passed down their hunting knowledge to their kids and when real monsters invade the town again, it’s time to sharpen the stakes and make more silver bullets! It would be so cool seeing these guys all grown up and not losing their monster hunting skills.
