If you follow me on my socials, you might’ve seen my Halloween franchise marathon posts. Every October, I watch all of the Halloween films and this time, I was inspired to share some of my favorite characters from the whole franchise. These characters left an impact on me for one reason or another and I wanted to give them some praise here. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite character in all of the Halloween films! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)
Tina Williams – Halloween 5: The Revenge Of Michael Myers

Tina (Wendy Foxworth) was the charismatic best friend of Rachel Carruthers (Ellie Cornell) and her little sister, Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris). She was also in Michael Myers’ (Don Shanks) path to his niece, Jamie, sealing her inevitable fate. I think Tina got a lot of undeserved hate. Hell, I hated her at first because I was like, “why the hell was Rachel killed off in the beginning and this random girl got the big sacrificial death?” The more times I watched the film, the more I started to really like her. She was fun, she was caring, and she tried to keep a positive attitude, despite everything that was happening. I now watch the film wishing she survived.
Tommy Doyle – Halloween: The Curse Of Michael Myers

After surviving an encounter with Michael Myers (George P. Wilbur), Tommy’s (Paul Rudd) obsession grew over the years as he was certain Michael would return someday. After Michael killed his niece, Jamie (J.C. Brandy), there was one last relative he had to kill, Jamie’s baby boy. Tommy not only rescued Jamie’s baby, he warned the family that currently lived in Michael’s old house that they would soon be targeted. He could’ve moved on with his life after 1978 and not get involved at all, but that wasn’t the kind of person he was. He was a fighter, a hero, and one of my favorite final guys.
Nancy McDonald – Halloween II (2009)

After fame got to Dr. Samuel Loomis’s (Malcolm McDonald) head, he hired Nancy (Mary Birdsong) to help promote his new book about Michael Myers (Tyler Mane). I have to say Nancy is one of the most patient characters I’ve ever seen. She tried everything to bring a successful book launch to Loomis and she had to deal with his crappy attitude the entire time. She also had no problem calling Loomis out for clearly tossing aside the feelings of those destroyed by Michael. I know she made questionable decisions herself by taking on Loomis as a client in the first place, but at least she was aware of the mistake she made.
Big John & Little John – Halloween Kills

Big John (Scott MacArthur) and Little John (Michael McDonald) were a loving couple who were crazy enough to purchase and live in Michael’s (James Jude Courtney) childhood home. Their quiet Halloween night was interrupted by a bunch of bratty kids who literally broke into their home to steal all of their candy. When they realized someone else broke into their home later that night, they grabbed the closest knives to them and went on a search. I just love how when they were searching all over the house, they continuously called out to each other to make sure they were ok. I loved seeing these guys together and believed that they deserved a better fate, but buyer beware!
Roger Allen – Halloween Ends

Roger Allen (Jack William Marshall) tragically lost his young son after a Halloween prank gone wrong. The young man responsible for the accident, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell) faced constant chastising from the town of Haddonfield and also Roger’s wife. Roger was the only one who understood that it was an accident and that Corey used to be a good kid. He tried his best to forgive and move on and when he saw how everyone treated Corey, he tried reaching out to him. Unfortunately, Corey was already too far gone at that point. Roger was one of the few people in Haddonfield that didn’t hold onto hate, and he really earned my respect.
