My Favorite Horror Movie Quotes – Part 4

Welcome to Day 25! One of my favorite articles I did last year was listing my favorite horror movie quotes, so I wanted to make another one at least once this Spooky Season. These collections showcase the horror movie quotes that stuck with me over time, either based on their words or execution. If you want to check out other quotes in this series, you can check out the collection here! Enjoy, and let me know some of your favorite quotes!

Dracula (1931) – Van Helsing (Edward Van Sloan)

“I may be able to bring you proof that the superstition of yesterday can become the scientific reality of today.”

Bride Of Frankenstein – The Monster (Boris Karloff)

“We belong dead.”

Bride Of Chucky – Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly)

“Oh Chucky, look at us. Don’t you see? We belong dead. Goodbye, Darling. I’ll see you in Hell.”

Doctor Sleep – Jack Torrance/The Bartender (Henry Thomas)

“A man tries. He provides. But is surrounded by mouths that eat and scream and cry and nag. So, he asks for one thing, just one thing for him, to warm him up, to take the sting out of those days and the mouths eating and eating and eating everything he makes, everything he has. A family, a wife, a kid. Those mouths eat time. They eat your days on Earth. Just gobble them up. It’s enough to make a man sick. And this… is the medicine. So tell me, Pup… are you going to take your medicine?”

Ginger Snaps Back: The Beginning – Brigitte (Emily Perkins)

“The day of reckoning – the day the curse grew stronger in the Red and the Black. Sisters united in blood, together forever.”

Silent Hill – Dark Alessa (Jodelle Ferland)

“When you’re hurt and scared for so long, the fear and pain turn to hate and the hate starts to change the world.”

Annihilation – Dr. Ventress (Jennifer Jason Leigh)

“Then, as a psychologist, I think you’re confusing suicide with self-destruction. Almost none of us commit suicide, and almost all of us self-destruct. In some way, in some part of our lives. We drink, or we smoke, we destabilize the good job… and a happy marriage. But these aren’t decisions, they’re… they’re impulses. In fact, you’re probably better equipped to explain this than I am.”

What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? – Blanche Hudson (Joan Crawford) and Baby Jane Hudson (Bette Davis)

Blanche: “You wouldn’t be able to do these awful things to me if I weren’t still in this chair.”

Jane: “But you are, Blanche! You are in that chair!”

3 From Hell – Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig)

“All hail the man behind the grease paint!”

House Of Wax (1953) – Henry Jarrod (Vincent Price)

“Once in his lifetime, every artist feels the hand of God, and creates something that comes alive.”

House On Haunted Hill (1959) – Fredrick Loren (Vincent Price) and Annabelle Loren (Carol Ohmart)

Fredrick Loren: “Don’t let the ghosts and ghouls disturb you, Love.”

Annabelle Loren: “Darling, the only ghoul in this house is you.”

Rosemary’s Baby – Rosemary Woodhouse (Mia Farrow)

“Pain, begone, I will have no more of thee!”

Night Of The Living Dead (1968) – Johnny (Russell Streiner)

“They’re coming for you! Look, here comes one of them now!”

Get Out – Missy Armitage (Catherine Keener)

“Now, you’re in the sunken place.”

The Silence Of The Lambs – Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster)

“You see a lot, Doctor. But are you strong enough to point that high-powered perception at yourself? What about it? Why don’t you – why don’t you look at yourself and write down what you see? Or maybe you’re afraid to.”

An American Werewolf In London – Gerald Bringsley (Michael Carter)

“You’ve left my wife a widow and my children fatherless. And I understand that I am to walk the earth in Limbo, one of the living dead until the wolf’s bloodline is severed and the curse lifted. You must die, David Kessler.”

Carrie (1976) – Margaret White (Piper Laurie) & Mrs. Snell (Priscilla Pointer)

Margaret: “These are godless times, Mrs. Snell.”

Mrs. Snell: “I’ll drink to that!”

Black Christmas (1974) – Barb (Margot Kidder)

“Oh, why don’t you go find a wall socket and stick your tongue in it. That’ll give you a charge.”

The Lost Boys – Edgar Frog (Corey Feldman)

“I think I should warn you all, when a vampire bites it, it’s never a pretty sight. No two bloodsuckers go out the same way. Some yell and scream, some go quietly, some explode, some implode, but all will try to take you with them.”

The Addams Family – Morticia (Anjelica Huston)

“Last night, you were unhinged. You were like some desperate howling demon. You frightened me. Do it again.”

The Fly (1986) – Seth Brundle (Jeff Goldblum)

“I knew an old lady who swallowed a fly. Perhaps she’ll die.”

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter – Henry Sturgess (Dominic Cooper)

“Haven’t you had enough?… A boy only gets this drunk when he wants to kiss a girl… or kill a man.”

Halloween (2007) – Deborah Myers (Sheri Moon Zombie) & Principal Chambers (Richard Lynch)

Deborah: “Again? Again? Jesus, what is it with you and this g*****n school? I cannot keep coming down here like this!”

Chambers: “Look, Ms. Myers, I do not enjoy calling you down here every five minutes.”

Deborah: “Really? It sure seems like you f***in’ do!”

Dog Soldiers – Cooper (Darren Morfitt)

“I hope I give you the s**ts, you f***ing wimp.”
