I know Spooky Season may be over, but I wanted to start a new series. The Treehouse Of Horror episodes of The Simpsons have brought amazing and hilarious horror parodies and fantastically memorable moments. I finally watched all of the Treehouse Of Horror episodes, and I decided it would be fun to rank all of the segments in each episode. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite segment in episode 1!

3. The Raven

For the episode’s final segment, Lisa (Yeardley Smith) reads from the classic Edgar Allan Poe tale. Admittedly, it’s difficult for me to understand some of Poe’s writing. I love that this segment not only helped me understand the story, but also made it funny! It’s last for me because although it had some great moments, it was overall a bit forgettable. Poe-mer’s (Dan Castellaneta) rant to the raven was undoubtedly one of the best moments!

Favorite Moment: When Bart (Nancy Cartwright) made the raven say “Eat my shorts” instead of “Nevermore.”

2. Hungry Are The Damned

In Hungry Of The Damned, the Simpsons are abducted by aliens who spoil them with feasts and a promise of paradise, but Lisa suspects that they have more sinister intentions. This segment started out very strong with the jokes. However, knowing the end of this segment, rewatching it is kind of a bummer, although I completely understand Lisa’s suspicions. I think I would’ve preferred the original intended ending.

Favorite Moment: When Lisa and Kang (Harry Shearer) blew the dust off the book.

1. Bad Dream House

As the Simpsons move into a new house, they quickly learn that the spirits dwelling within want them out. This is a great classic haunted house episode. I love how quickly everyone just turned against each other. It was very in-character. Plus, Homer’s denial of the house was just way too funny. There were so many great moments, it was truly hard to pick my favorite. It was hilarious from start to finish!

Favorite Moment: When the family chased each other with weapons and we think that Marge (Julie Kavner) was manipulated too, but she was just making a sandwich.
