Horror Movie Characters I Have No Sympathy For – Part 3

I’m back with part 3 of horror movie characters I have no sympathy for! These characters aren’t the main villains of these films, but they’re certainly not the kind of protagonists that I’m rooting for. Whatever they’ve said or done, they’ve lost all sympathy from me and not only do I not care for their downfall, I almost look forward to it. I hope you enjoy and let me know which horror movie characters you have no sympathy for! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)

T.C. – Sleepaway Camp II: Unhappy Campers

T.C. (Brian Patrick Clarke) was a camp counselor at Camp Rolling Hills, a camp where psychotic killer, Angela Baker (Pamela Springsteen) also worked. One day, Angela caught two young boys, Charlie (Justin Nowell) and Emilio (Jason Ehrlich) with a bunch of nude pictures they took of unsuspecting campers and even Angela. When Angela brought the pictures to T.C., the first thing he said was, “nice t*ts” and when Angela suggested that they’d be sent home because of what they did, T.C. shut it down because “Charlie and Emilio have been coming here for years.” He said he’d take care of it, and he took care of it by doing absolutely nothing about it. He clearly didn’t care about underage girls, and his co-worker, having pictures taken of them without their consent, and he even commented on their bodies himself. So, yeah, I was perfectly fine watching this dude get battery acid poured all over his face by Angela.

Vanessa Cassidy – The Grudge 2

Vanessa Cassidy (Teresa Palmer) was a student at Tokyo’s International High School. Wanting to prank their timid classmate, Allison (Arielle Kebbel), she and her friend, Miyuki (Misako Uno) took her to Japan’s most haunted house. Once they stepped inside, they became marked and cursed by the vengeful spirit, Kayako Saeki (Takako Fuji). Vanessa was one of those relentless bullies. After Allison was completely traumatized by what happened in that house, Vanessa acted like nothing was wrong, and she even mocked Allison for seeing the school shrink for therapy. Once she learned that Miyuki went missing, Vanessa once again deflected, saying Allison wanted to go to the house with them. They wanted to completely scare Allison, well they got their wish… at the cost of all of their lives.

Alice Patrick – Contracted

Upset that her relationship was on the verge of being over, Samantha Williams (Najarra Townsend) attended her friend, Alice’s (Alice Macdonald) party to unwind and have a few drinks. There, a strange man drugged and raped her, giving her an STD literally causing her to rot from the inside. First off, Alice had no problem with random people showing up at her house OR a drug dealer who sold the guy roofies in the first place. Sam’s life, relationships, and body were all falling apart and Alice could only think about her selfish needs. When Sam finally told her about how she was assaulted that night, instead of going to the police like she told Sam to, Alice told Sam’s girlfriend that she had consensual sex with a man, officially wrecking any chance of reconciliation. Then, when Sam went to confront Alice, Alice turned her back on her. She kicked Sam while she was already down and acted like she did it out of love. She was a real piece of work.

Pretty Much All Of The Characters – Unfriended

One year after the suicide of their friend, Laura Barns (Heather Sossaman), a group of friends hopped on Skype where a terrifying hacker forced them to play deadly games. Now, Laura Barns committed suicide after an embarrassing video of her was posted online and “anonymous” trolls constantly told her to kill herself. As the night went on and the friends dropped like flies, some startling confessions came to light, including eating disorder rumors, crashed cars, and framed drug possession. One guy, Adam (Will Peltz) drugged and raped a girl, his best friend knew about it and said nothing until he learned that Adam slept with his girlfriend. Another friend defaced Laura’s grave which is just so messed up. And of course, we can’t forget Laura’s supposed best friend, Blaire (Shelley Hennig) who posted the video of Laura in the first place. None of these characters had any redeeming factors and Laura was right to get rid of this bag of trash.

RJ Nichols – X

RJ Nichols (Owen Campbell) was an aspiring filmmaker who teamed up with a young group to shoot an adult film on the farm of an unsuspecting elderly couple. While his girlfriend, Lorraine (Jenna Ortega) was hesitant to be a part of the film, RJ assured her it was about art and expression. While Lorraine witnessed the actors do their scenes, her disgust turned into curiosity. After filming, Lorraine asked more questions about sex work and she finally got to the point where she asked to do a scene of her own. Suddenly, RJ’s views completely shifted. Suddenly, what they were doing was lewd and crude. Suddenly, RJ was shaming the actors he just got done praising. Then, after everyone went to sleep, he snuck out and tried to abandon everyone at the farm. He was a complete hypocrite and he drove me nuts. His co-worker, Wayne (Martin Henderson) wasn’t a saint, but he was engaged to one of the actresses and he understood the difference between sex for pleasure and sex for work. RJ was just a b***h about the whole thing.
