Ranking The Final Words Of The ‘Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter’ Victims

In anticipation for the new Crystal Lake series, I decided to watch ALL of the Friday The 13th films. As I was watching them, I thought it would be fun to continue my series of ranking the final words of the victims in the films. Today, I’m ranking the final words of the victims in Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter! I made my ranking based on originality, delivery, and memorability. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite final words!! (MAJOR SPOILERS!!!)

12. Tracy Jarvis (Joan Freeman)

“Gordon?”

She had so many better lines in this moment, but she just repeatedly called out to her kids and their dog. Nothing original, nothing new.

11. Tina Moore (Camilla More)

“Jimmy?”

A simple line. At least she only says it once before Jason gets her.

10. Ted Cooper (Lawrence Monoson)

“Jimbo? Jimbo?”

If Jimmy didn’t answer you the first time, Ted, why do you keep calling out to him? He almost went out saying his famous Teddy Bear line, but instead, we got this.

9. Paul Guthrie (Clyde Hayes)

“Sam!”

I do like how he went from super quiet to shouting Sam’s name in a panic. Other than that, nothing special.

8. Sara Parkington (Barbara Howard)

“Sam! Sam!”

This one ranks higher for me, because there’s something about it that’s heartbreaking. It always stuck with me that she called out for her best friend, not knowing that she was already dead.

7. Axel Burns (Bruce Mahler)

“S**t.”

He definitely had a more original line just before this one. However, he wasn’t just saying someone’s name, so it’s a tiny bit higher.

6. Rob Dier (Erich Anderson)

“Run! Run! Run! Oh, God, he’s killing me! He’s killing me! Run, Trish! Run! Run! Trish, run! He’s killing me!”

I do appreciate that as Rob was dying, he was still thinking of Trish and telling her to run. I just find it funny that he started saying “he’s killing me” BEFORE Jason even started to stab him. Still very original and selfless, that tiny moment still made me laugh.

5. Nurse Robbie Morgan (Lisa Freeman)

“Read my lips, leave me alone! No! No!”

I love that she was telling Jason Voorhees off without realizing she was telling him off. Then she hits you with the “No! No!”

4. Samantha Lane (Judie Aronson)

“Screw you, Paul.”

I love this. Too bad Paulie didn’t get to hear these words after dancing with another woman.

3. Terri Moore (Carey More)

“You slut!”

This one is just so funny to me. Imagine calling your sister a slut being the last words you ever say.

2. Doug Bell (Peter Barton)

“Hey, Paulie. Whoops! Dropped my bar of soap, old buddy. Lucky you ain’t in here with me, old pal.”

Although it’s problematic, this is a very original line. Barton’s delivery really made it funny and unforgettable.

1. Jimmy Mortimer (Crispin Glover)

“Hey! Ted! Ted! Hey, Ted! Where the hell is the corkscrew?!”

Calm down, Jimmy! Jason’s getting it for you! This one was so great, I love the delivery and just how fast he got annoyed at not being able to find it. It was a great question that got answered the hard way.
