It’s time for Day 12 of Spooky Season! It’s time for more spooky games and apps! Overall, this batch of apps had a lot of intriguing mysteries and game-play. If any of these apps interest you, they’re all available in the app store.
Werewolf Tycoon

Created By: Joe Williamson
App Store Rating: 4.7/5
My Rating: 2.5/5
Thoughts: I rating this one smack dab in the middle because I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t love it either. I loved the old-style graphics, but after a few levels, it didn’t really seem to offer anything different. It was just “eat and hide, eat and hide” the whole time. The sound effects were pretty funny, though.
Cupcake Maker Halloween TOP Cooking Game For Kids

Created By: Kamran Abid
App Store Rating: 3.3/5
My Rating: 2/5
Thoughts: This game is pretty simple, there’s not really a lot to it. I thought there’d be a little more decorating freedom, but it got pretty boring after a while.
Evil Nun: The Horror’s Creed

Created By: KEPLERIANS SL
App Store Rating: 4.5/5
My Rating: 3.5/5
Thoughts: I’d say in this game, it was a LOT easier to maneuver, but it’s still tricky. I’ll chalk that up to my inexperience with these types of games. The graphics are good and they don’t skimp on the creep factor.
Siren Head

Created By: andrew mbogo
App Store Rating: 4.4/5
My Rating: 5/5
Thoughts: This one is definitely my favorite game out of this batch so far! The setting was eerily beautiful, the music was calm, and there wasn’t a jump-scare every couple of minutes. The objectives were easy enough to follow, and I love how that used the sounds from that broken tornado siren. I definitely recommend this one!
Horror Clown Pennywise

Created By: Luong Tien
App Store Rating: 4.5/5
My Rating: 4/5
Thoughts: I really like how this one has different levels of fright to choose from. Being a wuss, I chose the easiest level. I gotta say, it’s pretty funny walking right by the clown without him bothering me. I love being able to collect the items and play the games without a jump-scare around every corner. You’re probably thinking, “Karli, what’s the point of playing horror games if you don’t like getting scared?” Well, I’ll tell you as soon as I come up with an answer.
Troll Face Quest Horror

Created By: SPIL GAMES
App Store Rating: 3.7/5
My Rating: 4.5/5
Thoughts: This one is pretty simple and fun! I love the animation and how each level is dedicated to a different horror film. I’m taking half a point off because ads pop up a lot more often than necessary.
Scary Jason 3D: Horror Scream

Created By: MASH Entertainment
App Store Rating: 3.8/5
My Rating: 1/5
Thoughts: This one was very reminiscent of Evil Nun. It didn’t really give me a chance to advance, or maneuver around easily. It doesn’t have a lot of redeeming factors. However, I will say the graphics are pretty decent.
Goosebumps Night Of Scares

Created By: Cosmic Forces
App Store Rating: 4.3/5
My Rating: 4.5/5
Thoughts: This game was really well developed! The graphics were beautiful, and there is one creature that was genuinely terrifying to be around. It perfectly created suspense and gave an epic Goosebumps feel. I definitely recommend this one!
Halloween Piano!

Created By: Better Day Wireless, Inc.
App Store Rating: 3.7/5
My Rating: 3.5/5
Thoughts: This one was just really fun to mess around with. I’m pretty bummed it only offers 2 free songs, but playing the freestyle piano was a blast!
