My Favorite Moments In ‘Jackass 3’

Jackass 3 has easily become my second favorite film in the franchise. As I was re-watching it, I started thinking about all of the stunts and pranks that made me absolutely love it. So today, I’m sharing all of my favorite moments from the film. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite moments from Jackass 3!! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)

The Kids Are Back

The movie starts with our guys coming out in various costumes. What I really loved about this was each guy had their own theme and their own injuries. We have Wee Man the fisherman, Preston the pirate, Steve-O the flying angel, Bam the piñata cupcake, Ehren the wildcat, etc. They really let their creativity flow here. I think, complimented with the song, it was a great way to start this film!

Gorilla Mayhem

While dressed in a realistic gorilla costume, Chris snuck in April and Phil’s hotel room and scared the hell out of them. What gets me the most about this prank was Phil’s reaction. Because he couldn’t hightail it out of that room, he ran straight to the bathroom, ready to crap himself! He basically trapped himself in an even smaller room with what he believed to be a wild animal. That is just so funny, because what would’ve his plan been if the gorilla burst open the door of that bathroom?

Lamborghini Tooth Pull

Needing a crooked tooth pulled, the guys decided the perfect way to pull Ehren’s tooth out is to tie it to the back of a Lamborghini and have it speed away. This is probably the most epic and dangerous way someone has ever had their tooth pulled. It’s so crazy that it actually worked. It didn’t even move Ehren’s head, it pulled it out so clean, it was honestly really cool.

Golf Ball Buckets

Stuck in a tiny room with buckets on their heads, Johnny, Steve-O, and Dunn have to try and avoid a flying golf ball. This was like a one in a million shot. You think Johnny is going to hit Steve-O or Dunn with the ball, but no! Not only does he hit himself, he gets himself right under the bucket, directly on his throat. That was completely unintentional and super impressive!

Poo Cocktail Surpreme

Strapped inside of a loaded port-a-potty, Steve-O is sling-shot into the air. This went exactly how you would expect it to. I can’t imagine how much that smells on the inside AND the outside. It is definitely one of their grossest and most dangerous stunts. Steve-O got to have fun after when he started booking it towards a crew member covered in crap. It was so disgusting.

Duck Hunting

While some of the guys were dressed as ducks and shot into a lake, others were dressed as hunters and armed with paintball guns, ready to shoot them in the air. I can imagine how terrible that would be. Not only are you flying through the air, not knowing how you’re going to land, but you’re also getting pelted with paintballs. It’s both thrilling and extremely painful.

Ram Jam

Dressed as marching band performers, Steve-O and Dunn try to calm a ram with their terrible music. It’s so funny how they couldn’t even get off the fence before the ram ran up to them. They already knew how much trouble they were going to be in. Then Steve-O got stuck while Dunn was getting hurt so bad! That was just too perfect! When Steve-O finally started to play, the ram didn’t care at all, it had its sights on Dunn the entire time.

Pontius The Barbarian

With his head upside down and his chin made up to look like a barbarian, Chris blindly faces off against a couple of scorpions. He really stayed in character, even after getting pinched and stung. His little barbarian character killed me, and when he just tore the set down and said he was over it, I LOST it! Chris is usually the one making all the jokes, it was really funny seeing him genuinely upset after a bit.

Pin The Tail On The Donkey

Wearing nothing but a blindfold, knee pads, and a cup, Ehren had to go behind a donkey and put a tail on him and hope he didn’t get kicked in the balls. I originally wasn’t planning on including this bit. However, Ehren was shaking so much after the first kick, when I saw Dunn, Bam, Johnny, and Dave actually making fun of his shaking, I just lost it. That was classic brother mocking behavior and it was so mean and hilarious. I just couldn’t leave it out after seeing that.

Little People Bar Fight

When Wee Man hangs out at a bar with a beautiful woman, her “boyfriend” shows up and a whole brawl ensues with his little friends, little cops, and little paramedics. This is one of those pranks that really nails the “confuse, don’t abuse” rule. I love Wee Man’s “I’m her man-friend” line, that was hilarious. It was so funny cause you didn’t really know what to expect when you first watched it. It was just so well executed.

Super Mighty Glue

With nothing but super glue and their warped ideas, the gang found different ways to apply glue in some very painful places. What gets me the most is how long this bit actually goes. They just kept coming up with ideas to use it and hurt with it. From gluing Bam’s hands to Preston and Phil’s chests, to having Preston and Wee Man do a glued 69, to Bam gluing his hand to Dunn’s beard, they really had a lot of fun with this one.

Electric Avenue

Dressed as prisoners, some of the guys had to cross a stun gun and cattle prod obstacle course. I have no idea why, but I feel like this was one of Bam’s ideas. If it was his idea, I just know he regretted that immediately. It was very creative and very memorable. You could almost feel every time they got zapped.

The Bungee Boogie

With a giant bungee cord, the guys use various methods to slingshot themselves into a nearby pool. What should’ve been a simple stunt quickly proved to be disastrous and painful. What gets me the most is when Bam tried to set it up again and the cord yanked him back and threw him off balance. He landed SO hard! I love how Ehren made the landing with no injuries, that was really impressive. It had a great conclusion when they tore a hole in the pool and Preston jumped in and went out of the hole, completely draining it.

The High Five

This is not only one of the greatest pranks in the franchise, it’s probably the most iconic. As Johnny waits with a giant swinging hand, the other unsuspecting guys fall right into its trap. It was so hilarious when they had Ehren bring in a tray of soup and he got hit so hard, the tray broke. However, the best part was undoubtedly when Bam got hit with the flour and basically flew to the ground. When Wee Man said “high five” right before, it killed me!

Tee Ball

As Steve-O stands in nothing but his underwear and shoes, Dunn swings a tee ball into his crotch. It wasn’t the stunt itself that made me laugh, but what happened right before. Steve-O was REALLY not looking forward to this one. He almost couldn’t get past the intro and when he asked, “why do I have to be Steve-O”, that got me. We don’t see a lot of moments like that, I think that’s why it always stuck with me here. It was one of the rare moments of genuine hesitation. I also think it was funny that Johnny started covering himself right after because if Dunn had a clear shot, I’m sure he would’ve gotten Johnny, too.

Beehive Tetherball

In one of their dumbest stunts, Steve-O and Dave, dressed as sexy bears, play tetherball with a beehive full of bees. I felt so bad for Loomis here. He wasn’t even part of the main cast, and he got put in the middle of this mess to referee. What was so hilarious here was the fact that Dave was almost immediately freaking out and getting stung and Steve-O just thought it was so funny.

Memories

As the credits roll, we’re treated with the guys singing about memories while watching footage of the good old days when Jackass first started. It was a stroll down memory lane that really hits differently now. This was the final film where they were all together. A part of me feels like this should’ve been the final film in the franchise, just because this was such a wonderful conclusion.
