Horror Movie Sequels I Wish Were Made – Part 4

We’ve finally reached Day 20 of Spooky Season!! Today, I started thinking about all of the sequels to my favorite horror films that I wish existed. So, I bring you part 4 of horror movie sequels I wish were made! I know these sequels will never see the light of day, but it doesn’t hurt to imagine what could’ve been. I hope you enjoy and let me know which horror movie sequels you wish were made!! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)

Hostel: Part 4

I’ll admit, I really hated Hostel: Part III when I first saw it. I actually watched it again recently, and I realized that I was too harsh on it. It opened the door to new locations, and new ways of these wealthy sadists to torture innocent travelers. It would be really cool to see how new minds can continue this story with these people who love to torture and kill. It would be great to go back to Slovakia, but it would also be great to see just how far this organization is spread across the world. I know we’ll never know in a new film, but the good news is we’re getting a Hostel TV series soon!

Texas Chainsaw 3

Okay, I know the 2013 Texas Chainsaw movie wasn’t well-received, but I’m very curious about how what happens with this TCM timeline. Heather (Alexandra Daddario) suddenly leaves her life behind to live in Newt, Texas to care for her cousin, Leatherface? Plus, Hartman’s cop son is still alive, is he just going to let go of the fact that they killed his dad? Hell no! The Hartman vs. Sawyer wars aren’t over yet! Also, would Heather help her cousin cross out the other faces on his hit-list, or would she try to keep him contained because he’s the last of her family? I just want another installment in this specific timeline.

Better Watch Out 2

I absolutely love Christmas horror movies and this was one of the best ones. There was actually a sequel planned, but even though the planned plot wouldn’t work anymore, that doesn’t mean we can’t get a follow-up anyways! The film ended with Ashley (Olivia DeJonge) surviving and Luke’s (Levi Miller) perfect plan being foiled. Luke could’ve spent this time trying to track down Ashley after her move, OR Ashley could’ve been trying to track down Luke. I can definitely see Luke’s mother helping him hide after it was revealed that he killed everyone. I need another cat-and-mouse game with these two, hopefully once again around Christmastime.

Bloodline 2

I’m very curious about how this family’s story continues. Will Even (Seann William Scott) continue his killing after his previous murders were pinned on someone else, or will he continue his spree with a new batch of victims? Would he pass down his murderous tendencies to his son as he starts to grow up? Could Lauren (Mariela Garriga) live with the fact that she killed an innocent kid and let everyone believed he was a responsible for the murders her husband committed, or would it eat at her? I think another chapter on this family would certainly be interesting.

Night Of The Demons 2

I hate that there was a planned sequel that never came to light because this one wasn’t received so well. I really love the concept and I don’t think this should be the end of it. I want to know if Maddie (Monica Keena) was questioned or a suspect in her friends’ disappearances. Angela (Shannon Elizabeth) rented the place out for Halloween, so it’s definitely possible for someone new to rent it out, discover the bodies, and unleash the demons once again. I guess it’s repeating the plot of the first film, but I don’t care, I still want more!

Stay Alive 2

Stay Alive is an underrated gem where if you die in this haunted game, you die in real life. It ended with the game being sold everywhere and we never got to see how badly that was going to go. Since this movie is 20 years old, the video game curse could be GREATLY updated. Would it adapt to new video and phone games, or would it die out as many video game methods and consoles did. Would some nut reboot the game to reach a new audience for Elizabeth Bathory to kill? I could definitely see Stay Alive as a Virtual Reality game where a person would actually experience dying before ACTUALLY dying. It has a lot of potential that I would love to see!

Day Of The Dead 2

A while back, I heard of Lori Cardille, Terry Alexander, and Jarlath Conroy working together again on a film about zombies on an island. I was confused, because even though Day Of The Dead ended with these three on an island, the film was NOT going to be a follow-up to Day Of The Dead and they weren’t playing the same characters. I haven’t heard anything about it since, but I would still love to see these characters again. I’d love to know if they got to live a peaceful life on the island, or if zombies would somehow end up there and their paradise would soon turn into a nightmare. I’m also very curious if Bub (Sherman Howard) would find more of his humanity as time went on, or if he would lose all of that as his body and brain decayed.

Ghost Ship 2

After watching this film again, I realized how badly I wanted to see a follow-up. The movie ends with Maureen (Julianna Margulies) seeing Ferriman (Desmond Harrington) loading the gold onto another ship, ready to collect more souls. I can see Maureen dedicating her life to freeing those that Ferriman would try and trap. Anytime a ship would go missing, she’d track it down and destroy it. It’d be a constant battle between these two because he took away those closest to her and trapped people for so many years.

Evil Dead: Circle Of The Wise Women

I don’t care how they do this, but I need it done as soon as possible. I want Mia (Jane Levy), Beth (Lily Sullivan), Kassie (Nell Fisher), and Alice (Souheila Yacoub) to band together and become a group of demon fighting bada**es! The Circle Of The Wise Men is gone, it’s time we had a Circle Of The Wise Women. Each of these characters have fought tooth and nail to survive against their possessed loved ones (well loved ones is a bit of a stretch for Alice’s in-laws). Alice now has the Kandarian dagger. During the post credits scene of Evil Dead Burn, when I saw that jeep pull up, I thought for sure that Mia would be stepping out of it. I don’t know how they’d meet, but I think this could be a new group of demon hunters.

An American Werewolf In London 3

I’ll be honest, I still haven’t seen An American Werewolf In Paris, so I don’t know its connection to the first film. In the first film, Alex (Jenny Agutter) and David (David Naughton) had a passionate affair before he died, and I always pictured a sequel to follow their child. For years, their kid wouldn’t know anything about David because talking about him was always too painful for Alex. Eventually they’d have to learn the truth about their dad after they started to become a werewolf themselves. It’s not a very original idea, but I still think it would be very interesting.
