My Favorite ‘Seinfeld’ Episodes – Part 2

I wasn’t too sure what I wanted to write about today, I’ve been kind of running my mind ragged lately. So, today I’m just going to share part 2 of my favorite Seinfeld episodes! These episodes have some of my all-time favorite moments and they’re the reasons I love this show so much. I hope you enjoy and let me know your favorite Seinfeld episodes! (SPOILER ALERT!!!)

The Susie

After Elaine’s co-worker calls her Susie, a series of misunderstandings causes Elaine to take drastic measures in order to keep her job. Meanwhile, George goes to great lengths to avoid being broken up with before an important work event. This episode just has so many great moments. I love how Elaine completely maneuvered around her meeting, not confirming that she was Elaine OR Susie. Also, Jerry just humble-bragging to Elaine’s co-worker at “Susie’s” funeral just kills me every time. Plus, when Kramer acted like he was the one in the relationship with George was so great. I feel like this whole episode was great from start to finish!

The Baby Shower

Desperate to win over her approval, Elaine throws a baby shower for her old college friend, Leslie. George wants to confront Leslie at the event after having a bad date with her 2 years ago. Meanwhile, Kramer convinces Jerry to get illegal cable. This one was always one of my go-tos, I’m not sure what it was about it exactly. I think it was mostly due to the discussions, from the diner Kennedy discussion, to George’s rant about what he REALLY wanted to say to Leslie. I also love the blooper reel of Jerry’s nightmare, I remember how hard I laughed at Michael Richards breaking Jerry every time he moved him. There was something about Seinfeld’s earlier episodes that I can always throw on no matter what mood I’m in.

The Betrayal

After being invited to her arch nemesis’ wedding in India, Elaine decides to go out of spite and learns she used to date the groom. George and Jerry tag along to India with a woman Jerry slept with while George was dating her. Meanwhile, Kramer desperately tries to undo his friend’s birthday wish that he drop dead. I just LOVE that they played this episode backwards. We get to start with the aftermath of the chaos and learn how everything went down to the beginning. It was such a unique way of storytelling and it kept me compelled the entire time. The best part was the very end of the episode was actually the very beginning where Jerry first met Kramer, I love that they took it that far.

The Blood

Jerry’s parents hire their friend, Izzy Mandelbaum to be his personal trainer. Meanwhile, Kramer has difficulty storing his blood after an encounter at the blood bank. George tries to mix food and TV into his sexual encounters and Elaine ropes herself into babysitting her friend’s troublemaker child. The stories in this episode were just so great and random. The best part in the whole thing is undoubtedly when Jerry found out Kramer gave him some of his blood and when Jerry screams, Kramer doesn’t know what to do, so he just starts screaming back. This was also Lloyd Bridges’ final appearance in the show, I really wish he was in more episodes because he was just so hilarious! This episode was just so shocking and disgusting in the best ways.

The Fix Up

After discussing the single life with their friends, George and Cynthia, Jerry and Elaine decide to fix them up against their better judgment. Jerry and Elaine promise to tell each other everything about the date, but soon go back on their word when it doesn’t really go well. Meanwhile, Kramer gives George a defective condom that further complicates things with Cynthia. I really love seeing Maggie Wheeler outside of her most popular role. I kind of wish we got to see more of Cynthia with George outside of this episode, I kind of liked them together. What was really great was when Kramer just walked into a fight two different times and kind of shoved himself into both situations. This one was really funny and kind of sweet, in a way.
